Hi! I’m Sooyeon(or Nikki) from Korea, It’s nice to meet you!
I moved to the States to broaden my perspective and push myself 
to create more innovative and engaging design. 
Now, I’m working in NYC as a graphic designer.

I especially love brand design and motion graphics. 
The most important thing I value in my work is “fun.” Not humor, but a deeper kind of engagement.
First, design should be visually interesting. 
It should naturally draw attention, whether it’s through beauty, uniqueness, 
or something unexpected that makes people want to look again. That kind of visual pull.
But more importantly, I believe design should carry a philosophy. 
Of course, it’s great when something looks beautiful, but if that’s all it is, it quickly becomes forgettable. 
I want my work to invite people to look closer, to discover meaning, 
and to experience something within it.

And when that idea and the visual come together in just the right way,
there’s a kind of catharsis people feel. I really love that moment!
That’s the kind of design I want to create.
